Shikarpur:The body of a kidnapped person was found near Mian Sahib town on Monday.
The kidnapped person, Muhammad Hanif Brohi, 35, a resident of village Nek Muhammad Brohi, was brutally tortured. He was found dead from a land situated near Mian Sahib town.
The victim’s relatives and associates staged a demonstration at Hamayoon while keeping the body on the road and blocked Shikarpur-Jacobabad National Highway for more than two hours.
The body was sent to Shikarpur Civil Hospital for medical examination by area police and then handed over to their relatives after completing necessary formality.
It may be recalled that Hanif Brohi was kidnapped by some group of armed men at gunpoint when he went to his agricultural land for irrigating the water some five days ago from the jurisdiction of Mian Sahib Police Station.
No FIR was registered till filing news.
