KP: (KP Govt spending Rs22b for quality education in newly merged districts)

ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is spending Rs22 billion for quality education purpose in the newly merged districts of the province.

This was stated by a spokesman of the provincial government in an interview in Peshawar. He said four thousand five hundred teachers are being recruited to overcome shortage of teaching staff in these districts.

Similarly, missing facilities have been provided in thousands of schools, including solarization, provision of furniture and stationery and construction of additional classroom and boundary walls.

The spokesman said government is also providing monthly stipend to girl students in tribal districts to encourage female education.
