Peshawar:Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani says the government is making legislations to discourage child labour in the province.
Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar on Monday, he said child protection units will be established in all districts of the province.
The speaker directed the social welfare department to finalize their proposals in this regard.
Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani said the government is committed to make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a model province for the rights of children.
The meeting was also attended by officials of UNICEF and Human Rights Commission.
