KARACHI: Karachi Water and Sewerage Board’s Deputy Managing Director Technical Services Asadullah Khan has said that the water board would make special arrangements for supplying water and draining sewerage in the month of Rabbi-ul-Awal.
We will take steps for special arrangements near all the mosques, procession routes and drainage measures for this day. A special cell will be set to provide water for Sabeel while mosques. Manholes coming in the way of mosques, procession routes and congregation venues will be repaired, covered and colored.
This was decided at a meeting presided over by Khan. The meeting was also attended by Ahl-e- Sunnat Rabita Council Pakistan leader Syed Masroor, President Karachi Division Sharjeel Qadri, Naseem Ahmed Khan and Mazhar Ahmed Khan. The council leaders thanked Khan for assuring water and sanitation arrangements for the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awal.
