KARACHI:Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) on Sunday repaired several seeping pipelines, including Dhabeji Pumping Station’s leaking PRC Line No.1 besides resolving other issues in a swift operation.
According to KWSB, the work was done by the water entity staff on the directives of KWSB Managing Director Asadullah Khan. KWSB Complaint Centre today resolved 123 complaints out of 136 received from elected representatives and citizens. The water supply to the citizens remained continued through alternative lines during the repair work of seeping lines.
The work on 12-inch diameter pipeline’s connection and installation in Sohrab Goth was also completed successfully. The two leakages of a 12-inch diameter pipeline in Buffer Zone-15 were also plugged. Sewerage flow issue near Zameendar Hotel in Gulbahar area was also resolved through hectic work.
Two pipelines changing work at Eye Hospital Korangi was also finished. Various sewerage lines in Gulshan-e-Iqbal were cleansed to ensure smooth drainage flow. Various works were done in different areas of the city, KWSB said.
