Land mafia victim seeks justice

Karachi:A citizen injured by land mafia over property dispute is yet to get justice while the influential mafia is roaming scot-free.

As per details, a citizen of Tando Adam named Faisal Abbasi told the media that he had approached the apex court in case number CA42-K/2016 for retrieving his agricultural land from powerful grabbers belonging to Junejo community and the court issued verdict in his favor. He said on the day when the possession of the land was to be handed over to him, armed attackers riding two bikes opened fire on him near his land, injuring him seriously. He was rushed to Karachi, where doctors saved his life.

Faisal Abbasi has alleged that the police are not cooperating in booking the attackers and their backers including a former lawmaker, who enjoys patronage of the provincial government of Sindh. He appealed to the new chief justice of Pakistan, army chief, DG rangers, Sindh governor, Sindh chief minister, IGP Sindh and other higher authorities to dole out him justice and order action against the land mafia people.
