LARKANA:The President, Larkana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Abdul Ghaffar Shaikh, has condemned the PIA decision to cancel flights to Mohenjo Daro.
He said that the PIA has done injustice with the business community and general public of Larkana district and its adjoining areas by suddenly withdrawing its flights to Mohenjo Daro without any reason.
Talking to PPI here on Friday, he said that Mohenjo Daro is a known historical place in the world where foreign tourists always come to visit ancient monuments which have been declared World Heritage by the UNESCO.
He said the PIA has even ignored business community of Larkana district and such treatment can only be termed as discriminatory.
Shaikh said that closing flights to Mohenjo Daro will not only create lot of problems for the business community but it will also reduce tourist’s visits to this historical cultural site of Indus civilization.
He appealed to concerned higher authorities to reconsider their decision and order flight operation restoration to Mohenjo Daro.
