Little boy falls prey to Hesco power lines

NAUNDERO:A little boy was electrocuted in village Wandh Shar near here Monday.

Hameed, aged 9, son of Hameer Shar, was rushed to Rural Health Centre with serious burn injuries, where he died. The relatives of the boy said that 11000 high tension live electric lines are passing through their houses in the village for which they had been constantly requesting SDO Sepco Naundero to remove them, but he failed to honour them which resulted loss of an innocent human life today.

They said Hameed climbed to the tree from where these live cables are passing and was caught instantly. He received major burn injuries and we shifted him to RHC where no facilities for burn cases are available due to which he expired, they added. They demanded of higher Sepco authorities to shift the lines without loss of further time to save other human beings being their next prey.
