SHIKARPUR:A man was crushed to death by a tractor-trolley near new Mall Piri Shikarpur within the precincts of Stuart Gunj police station here on Saturday.
The man, identified as Imam Bux Shar, aged 40, a resident of village Sarang Shar, was on his way to the city from his village by foot for purchasing utility items when a tractor-trolley hit him on Shikarpur Bypass. As a result, he died on the spot.
The body was brought to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs.
The area police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle. No FIR could be filed till late evening.
