QUETTA: One person was shot dead on Mastung Road near Al-Asif hotel area of Quetta on Friday.
According to rescue sources, unidentified armed men opened fire on a motorcyclist near Al-Asif area on Mastung Road, resultantly, motorcyclist namely Maqbool Ahmed, 35, son of Allah Bakhsh Badini, resident of Kachi Baig died.
The body was shifted to Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta and later handed over to the heirs after fulfilment of necessary medico-legal formalities. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the victim’s house.
