KARACHI:A man who allegedly injured in police firing in Karachi’s Garden area on May 21 succumbed to his injuries during treatment in hospital on Friday.
According to details, the man Abdul Qayyum was suffered severe bullets injuries during firing by a police party who were called up to resolve a brawl that broke out between two groups during a night cricket match in Garden areas on 21 May 2019.
A First Investigation Report (FIR) was registered against police party allegedly involved in shooting and injuring Qayyum.The FIR was lodged under section of attempt to injure against all those cops who reached the scene.
SSP Malir on Friday said four more policemen were arrested who were allegedly involved in the incident whereas five other cops were previously apprehended.
