KHAIRPUR: A driver was killed in a road accident near Khairpur on Monday.
A loader vehicle, carrying fruit from Sukkur, was on its way when it hit a tree due to bursting of its tyre on Shah Hussain Bypass near Khairpur. As a result, its driver Umaid, son of Ahmed Ali Janwiry, died on the spot. The victim was the resident of village Moosa Janwiry.
The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Khairpur for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs.
