KARACHI:A man was shot and injured by robbers in the jurisdiction of Gulshan-e-Maymar area of the city on in the wee hours of Saturday.
According to rescue sources, armed robbers riding a motorbike intercepted 19-year-old Ashir, son of Akhtar near Liyari Nadi in the jurisdiction of Gulshan-e-Maymar, but he offered them resistance on which the robbers opened fire at him.
As a result, he sustained severe bullet injuries. The injured was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment where his condition was stated to be out of danger.
