Quetta/ Mastung: The death toll of deadly blast during a reception of a political leader at Mastung rose to 85, said hospital sources.
At least 85 people including Balochistan Awami Party candidate for PB35 Nawabzada Siraj Raisani died and more than 100 other injured in a blast at Dareen Garh area of Mastung on Friday.
Levies sources said the blast hit a gathering of Raisani during his electioneering drive. So far 85 people including Siraj Raisani are termed dead while more than 100 others other are injured, who are being shifted to hospitals of Quetta and Mastung. Condition of several injured was said to be critical.
Law enforcing agencies said it was a suicide attack and from 16 t0 20 kilograms of explosive material was used in the deadly blast.
