Meeting reviews security after Quetta blast

QUETTA:A high-level meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan reviewed security situation of the province including provincial capital Quetta.

In the meeting, different aspects of Hazar Ganji bomb blast were reviewed. Deputy Inspector General of Police, Abdul Razaq Cheema gave a detailed briefing. The meeting decided for further improvement in security. It was also decided to take action against terrorists and their facilitators.

Meeting condoled with the families of martyrs and prayed for early recovery of the injured. Pecuniary assistance for the heirs of martyrs was also announced in the meeting.

It was also decided in the meeting that the expenditures for the treatment of injured will be borne by the Provincial Government. The meeting also decided to install CCTV at vegetable market and other important places of provincial capital.

The meeting was attended by Provincial Ministers Mir Ziaullah Langove, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Mir Naseebullah Marri, Advisor to Chief Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Advisor to Chief Minister for Secondary Education Department Muhammad Khan Lehri, MPA Asghar Khan Achakzai, Chief Secretary, Balochistan Dr Akhtar Nazeer and Additional Inspector General of Police, Balochistan.
