ISLAMABAD:Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the new local government system in Punjab will ensure devolution of administrative and financial matters to the grass-roots level in the real sense.
Talking to media persons here on Wednesday, he said people have welcomed the new local government system in Punjab as government has taken practical step for devolution of powers to the local level.
He said the opposition should observe patience in parliament and listen to the treasury members.
