Minister: (Info Minister directs Radio Pakistan to start FM Music Channel for youth)

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has directed Radio Pakistan to start an FM Music Channel for youth.

She gave directions in this regard during her visit to National Broadcasting House in Islamabad on Friday.

The Minister of State also directed to clear all outstanding dues of artists and other contractual staff of Radio Pakistan.

She visited various sections of news and current affairs channel of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation in Islamabad.

Accompanied by Director General PBC Shafqat Jalil, Director of News Javed Khan Jadoon and other senior officials of the national broadcaster, she visited the General News Room, the news studio, the web desk, Central Reporting Desk and research and reference section of the current affairs channel.

The Minister especially appreciated the work of the social media of Radio Pakistan saying it is the best in the information ministry. The Director of News Javed Khan Jadoon briefed the minister about the working of news and current affairs.
