Minister sees people cursing PTI regime over price hike

KARACHI:Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said Friday that there is a brotherly atmosphere in Sindh.

Only a few elements are trying to end this atmosphere for their ulterior motives, but the people of Sindh know how to protect their rights and we will not allow anyone to disturb the peace.

He said this while talking to media in the Governor House after chairing a meeting of the Government Printing and Stationary Department here today. He said that he hoped that the Prime Minister would take a U-turn on the Karachi as usual and the PTI government had focused on forming committees instead of solving the problems and the people, who had been suffering from inflation and poverty, now they had started to curse the federal government.

Dharejo added it was hoped that those who were doing their politics on the garbage will reach their logical end in the garbage too. He said that those who ruled the city of Karachi for the last two decades gave nothing but fear to the city and introduced the Kalashnikov culture.

He advised the federal government to implement Article 149 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa instead of Karachi. Earlier, Dharejo visited different parts of the Printing and Stationary Department Industries and Commerce. On this occasion, Controller Hoshi Latif Unar gave a briefing regarding the department to the provincial minister. While addressing the meeting, Dharejo assured the employees that he would talk to the Chief Minister Sindh to resolve their problems.
