ISLAMABAD: Ministry of National Health Services is taking effective measures to control Tobacco use in the country.
Tobacco Control Cell of the Ministry in collaboration with Federal Film Censor Board has launched anti-tobacco campaign in cinema and theatres across the country.
In this campaign, two tobacco control messages “Alive” and “Sponge” have been disseminated to all cinemas and theatres through Central Film Censor Board Islamabad to broadcast them during their shows regularly.
Tobacco Control Cell of the Ministry has also recently notified new pictorial health warning having fifty percent of the front and back of all cigarette packs.
