Muslim rulers have disappointed Ummah: JI leader

LAHORE: Deputy chief of the Jamaat e Islami, Hafiz Mohammad Idrees, has slated Muslim states’ envoys for attending an Iftar hosted by US President Trump and said this was tantamount to rubbing salt in the wounds of the Palestinians.

Addressing a big Friday congregation at Mansoora Mosque, he said that instead of attending Trump’s Iftar, the Muslim envoys should have joined the workers of Muslim organizations staging protest outside the White House.

He said that the liberation of the al-Quds was the matter of life and death for the Muslims as it is the third holiest place for the Muslims next to the Holy Kaaba and the Prophets’ Mosque and al-Quds under illegal Israeli occupation. .

He said that justice loving nations were protesting US’s unlawful support to the Zionist state but the so-called champion of human rights, the US was not bothered.

He wished there were some Mohammad bin Qasim or Salahud Din Ayubi who could have effectively dealt with those playing with the Muslim’s blood.

Hafiz Mohammad Idrees said that the Muslim rulers had disappointed the Ummah. He said the Muslim movements and organizations were trying to awaken the Ummah but the rulers were totally spineless and were not ready to throw off the yoke of US slavery.

He said that the Muslims need not look towards the UNO for the solution of their problems because the UNO was a US toy and could not go against the interest of the US and Israel.
