New EFP Board for 2020-2022 elected

Karachi:Majyd Aziz and Zaki Ahmed Khan were elected as President and Vice President of Employers Federation of Pakistan, respectively for the term 2020-2022.

The following were elected as members of the Board of Directors:

Asif Aziz Zuberi, Syed Nazar Ali, Ahsan Ullah Khan, Haji Muhammad Javed, Athar Iqbal, Feroz Alam, Khawaja Muhammad Nauman, Saadia Naveed, Sharon Dias, Ismail Suttar, Iftikhar Shirazi, Mehnaz Kaludi, Humayun Nazir, Akram Farid, Yousuf Mirza, and Khalid Junejo. Moreover, Mian Adrees and Malik Tahir Javed were elected from the Chamber seats.

Fasihul Karim Siddiqi, Secretary General EFP, informed that for the first time in 70 years in EFP history, three Women Directors were elected. The turnout of voters was also the highest ever in any EFP Election. He added that in the Board of Directors meeting on 01 January, 2020, the Board approved the EFP Growth Strategy for 2020-22 as well as the formation of Sub-Committees.

The Board also appointed Mian Adrees, Haji M. Javed, Akram Farid, and Ismail Suttar as Chief of Punjab, KPK, Islamabad, and Balochistan Chapters respectively. Malik Tahir Javed was appointed Co-Chief of Punjab Chapter.

The Board also appointed Mohsin Ashraf Tabani as Advisor to the Board and Barrister Haroon Dugal as the Senior Legal Advisor.
