KARACHI:Staff of National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) observed a solidarity day with Pakistan army, followed by a rally here on Saturday.
Executive Director, NICVD, Prof Dr Nadeem Qamar, Administrative Executive Dr Malik Hameedullah, senior faculty members and a large number of employees attended the event. The participants were carrying banners and posters, lauding the valour of Pakistan army.
They chanted slogans in support of Pakistan army, and against Indian aggression.
Addressing the participants, NCIVD Executive Director Prof Nadeem Qamar said that Pakistan army is No.1 army in the world and it has the capacity to defend the borders.
He further said that entire nation stands together with Pak armed forces. He said the tension between Pakistan and India must be deescalated.
On this occasion, Administrative Executive Dr Malik Hameedullah said that keeping in view of Indian aggression against Pakistan, a solidarity day with Pakistan Army was observed at NICVD. He said entire nation fully supports our brave armed forces.
