LARKANA:One APC chain driver was killed and another injured in the firing by outlaws at katcha area of Chak police station on Monday.
According to reports, once again many questions were raised over the poor performance of police, specially over the procurement of APC, which claimed the heavy loss of martyrdom of APC chain driver and other received serious bullet injuries when the bullet crossed from the Chain APC and hit them by the outlaws during the police operation at Katcha area.
As a result of firing with automatic weapons and rocket launchers, one APC chain driver of Sukkur police identified as Zulfiqar Ali Abbasi was hit inside the chain APC who succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the other police constable Abdul Rasheed Khoso who was riding in another APC was seriously injured.
The injured and the deceased APC chain driver were transported to a Sukkur hospital. It may be recalled that some 43 days ago, SHO Lakhi Murtaza Mirani and SI Zulfiqar Ali Panhwar were martyred in the firing of outlaws during an operation in katcha area when they were riding in chain APC.
