KARACHI: An alleged robber was killed and three others were arrested in injured condition after police encounter in Shahrah-e-Faisal area of the city on Saturday.
According to police sources, a gang of four robbers were looting citizens on gunpoint near PAF museum, when a police team reached the scene, the robbers opened fire on the police team, which was also retaliated by the police.
During shootout for some time the robbers, Mohammad Maqsood, Abdul Rauf, Babar and Ali sustained bullet injuries.
Police also claimed to have recovered weapons, snatched mobile phones, and cash from their possession.
The Police arrested them in injured condition and shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment, where Maqsood succumbed to his injuries.
