Karachi:Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) supports the Grand Health Alliance for its struggle against MTI Act in Punjab which is not beneficial to patients and medical professionals.
According to our information the health standing committee was forced to pass this act and then government has got it approved from the cabinet division, says a PMA release here Friday.
It said now the Punjab Government is prepared to pass this notorious MTI Act from Punjab Assembly during its session starting from 11-10-2019.
We suggest the Punjab Government not to take hasty steps in passing MTI Act instead hold talks with all medical organizations like Pakistan Medical Association Punjab, Young Doctor’s Association and Grand Health Alliance to resolve this issue amicably, the release concludes.
