Political leaders call on Sindh governor

KARACHI: Governor Punjab Mohammad Rafiq Rajwana, KPK Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq called on Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair at the Governor’s House here on Monday.

The Sindh governor said that the federal government was carrying out development works throughout the country and in this context, uplift works also continue in many districts of Sindh. He said that the government is also giving Rs 75 billion for Karachi’s mega projects. He stated that the federal government also recently completed a long-awaited Lyari Expressway project.

He said that the Greenline project is compatible with the modern requirements, which will enable the citizens to have modern facilities. Governor Punjab said that the development of the social sector was possible with the help of federal government. He said increase in foreign investment and business activities were boosting employment opportunities.

The KPK governor said that the positive results of the steps taken by the government would improve the life of the common man. That’s why common man’s confidence in democracy is increasing day by day. Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq said that the welfare of the common man was priority in legislation so as to make welfare society as per expectations of the people.
