Karachi: Maymar Sports recorded a convincing 3-1 victory against Ghousia Sports in the summit clash of DMC Central Football Championship here at Golden Star Football Ground.
Mohammad Shahzad scored two goals while Mohammad Wasif scored one goal for the winning side. Maymar Sports was runner-up team last year.
Mohammad Mohsin scored a consolatory goal for the losing team.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Jamshed was top scorer of tournament, who scored ten goals. Moreover, Ghousia Sports’ goal-keeper received Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament award.
Khalid Maqbool Siddique, deputy convener MQM Pakistan, was the chief guest during the closing ceremony of the tournament. Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar was also present on the occasion.
