PPP govt has littered Sindh with AIDS: PTI MPA

DADU, Sindh:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Haleem Adil Shaikh said Sunday that the PPP government had littered Sindh with AIDS by handing over hospitals to NGOs besides depriving poor people of their right to basic health facility.

This he expressed during his visit to Civil Hospital Dadu. He said that hospitals across Sindh were in shambles as no better health facility was being provided to the people.

The PTI MPA said: “The people have been forced to visit quack doctors due non-provision of health facilities. There is need to conduct HIV screen test of people in whole Sindh so as to reduce HIV cases spreading fast.” He said that health mobile vehicles provided for poor people of rural areas were standing idle in the hospitals, which was a matter of great concern.

He said that ambulances standing in the hospital were not working for patients. Forty doctors out of 78 have been sent on deputation on the approval of Secretary Health.

He said that before Imran Khan’s coming to power, they had already announced that Kalabagh dam would not be built. Adil later expressed condolence with social leader Rajib Shahani over the death of his uncle and participated in the Iftar party.
