LARKANA: Activists of PPP-SB and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) observed the 25th anniversary of Mir Murtaza Bhutto separately at Garhi Khuda Bux and Bhutto House in Naundero on Monday.
In Garhi Khuda Bux, PPP-SB activists held Quran Khuwani for the departed soul at the grave of their leader, showered rose petals and offered prayers. They paid rich tribute to their leader by shouting sky-high slogans while some of them had tears in their eyes. The workers had reached the Bhutto graveyard from all over the country. KPK’s Salim Shah, Punjab’s Javed Iqbal Moazim, Feroza Lashari, Ghulam Hyder Narejo, Hafeez Pathan and others participated in the event and paid rich tributes to their departed leader.
While addressing a public meeting they reposed confidence in the leadership of Ghinwa Bhutto, Fatima Bhutto and Zulfiqar Junior what they called till last drop of their blood. Ghinwa Bhutto addressed the gathering through video link as she is out of the country.
In Naundero, PPP workers held recitation from the Holy Book at Bhutto House and offered Fateha for the departed soul in the morning. Punhal Luhar, men and women activists participated in the recitation after which free food (Lungar) was also distributed among the participants. Dr. Sakina Gaad, Amina Jamali, Naziran Abro, Shabana Domki and others also took part in the Quran Khuwani. They also paid rich tribute to the martyred eldest son of PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
