President: (Pakistan, Nepal agree to strengthen bilateral relations by enhancing cooperation in various fields)

Baku: Pakistan and Nepal have agreed to further strengthen the bonds of friendship by diversifying the bilateral relations in different fields.

The understanding came at a meeting between President Arif Alvi and Nepalese Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli on the sidelines of the Non Aligned Movement Summit in Baku.

The two leaders affirmed to enhance economic relations between the two countries.

The President noted that the arc of bilateral cooperation has been expanding steadily in various fields of mutual interest.

Arif Alvi also briefed the Nepalese Prime Minister on the Indian illegal actions and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir in utter disregard of international law and norms.

President Arif Alvi expressed the hope that Nepal will paly its role as SAARC chair, for strengthening peace and stability in the region.
