ISLAMABAD:The country’s economy is improving under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
This was stated by PTI Spokesperson Ahmad Jawwad in statement on Monday. He said the inflation rate remained seven point six percent during the first year of PTI government.
He said the current account deficit declined by fifty five percent in July and August this year and budget deficit thirty six percent in August. He said exports of the country witnessed 12 percent increase during July-August this year.
The Spokesperson said Pakistan has received 346 million dollars Foreign Portfolio Investment during first fiscal quarter and 100 Index increased 4872 points in Karachi Stock Exchange.
He said according to State Bank of Pakistan, the foreign exchange reserves have increased to sixteen billion dollars. He said the remittances have surged to ten percent.
