LARKANA:Ticket given by Pakistan Tehreek Insaf to its candidate Salma Perveen for PS-12 Larkana was withdrawn as the PTI announced its support to GDA candidate Akbar Shah Rashdi who is also contesting on the same seat.
In this connection statement has been issued by central leader of PTI Dr. Arif Alvi which was circulated here today by the media-cell of Mumtaz Ali Bhutto.
The statement said that under seat adjustment, PTI has decided to withdraw its candidate Salma Perveen from PS-12 in favour of Larkana Awami Ittehad candidate Akbar Shah Rashdi. PTI will now support Rashdi, it added.
Meanwhile, Rashdi has launched massive election campaign after this sudden change. He visited several villages of the constituency assuring the voters that he will work for their betterment. He asked the people to take revenge from PPP for snatching their Roti, Kapra aur Makan instead of giving them, in fulfilment of their famous slogan, by voting in favour of those candidates who are contesting against PPP candidates.
