Qaim ready to face NAB if called

LARKANA:Former Sindh Chief Minister and veteran politician Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that Sindh is one and it will remain one and nobody can harm it or has the right to divide it.

He was talking to newsmen at Tarai village near Madeji where he had gone on Friday to offer condolence with PPP leader Zulfiqar Kamario on demise of his daughter. Shah said: “It is not new that MQM is talking about division of the province and added it carries no value.”

He said every child of Sindh is ready to defend Sindh. In reply to a question, Shah said selected government had rendered thousands of people unemployed instead of giving them jobs and relief. He said price hike had broken the back of poverty-stricken masses and country was facing economic crisis. In reply to yet another question, Shah said that at the very outset, Kashmir issue was raised by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto at UNGA and puppet prime minister had done nothing as yet for them.

He said double standards had always been made with Sindh and its people but even then he was called by NAB. “I am ready to face them,” he said when asked if he would appear before NAB if a call up notice is issued to him. He said fake NAB cases would do nothing to PPP leaders. Safdar Mithani, Taqi Abbasi Kamario, Zaib Mishwani, Irfan Channo, Muhammad Ishaque Brohi and others were also present on the occasion.
