QUETTA: Municipal Corporation Quetta (MCQ) has declared 8 roads of Quetta city as Cart-Free-Zones to maintain smooth flow of traffic in Quetta city, according to a notification issued by the Administrator, MCQ on July 29, 2021.
In order to maintain smooth flow of traffic in Quetta, Airport Road, Shara-e-Iqbal, Fatima Jinnah Road, Masjid Road, Sooraj Ganj Bazar, Joint Road, Sariab Road upto Burma Hotel and Liaquat Bazar have been declared as Cart-Free-Zones. Notification further says, “The violation of these instructions shall be viewed seriously and the hand carts shall be taken into custody”.
