Rain, wind-thunderstorm likely in country’s many parts

KARACHI:Pakistan Meteorological Department said today that rain and wind-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.

It said that mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country on Tuesday. During the past 24 hours, rain/wind-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, Bannu, Kohat, D.I Khan, Malakand, Hazara, Quetta divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. However, weather remained hot and humid elsewhere in the country.
