SHIKARPUR: A large number of Sanjrani community people took out a rally here on Sunday against Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to denounce his alleged statement against newly elected Senate Chairman Mir Mohammad Sadiq Sanjrani.
The rally was taken out from Bypass to Press Club Shikarpur. It was led by Dr Allah Dino Sanjrani.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Allah Dino Sanjrani said that PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi should have avoided giving painful remarks against new Senate Chairman.
The protesters strongly condemned the PM’s remarks and demanded of him to take them back. The protesters – Raees Koral Khan, Raees Rahim Bux, Sadaruddin, Raees Zahid Hussain and Gul Mohammad Sanjrani – were holding placards inscribed with slogans against PM Abbasi and in favour of Sanjrani.
