NAUDERO:During drive against illegal electricity Kunda connections, a few people of Jarwar community attacked local Sepco officials, injuring three officials here on Friday.
A FIR was lodged against the accused and one of them was arrested.
According to details, a team of local Sepco line staff started disconnecting unlawful electricity connection in Garibabad locality along the Sukkur Bypass when a retired official attacked and injured three employees, Aurangzeb Solangi, Sadam Mirani and Tufail Lashari.
After the dispute the Sepco employees observed pen-down strike and gathered at Naundero Police Station where an FIR No: 110/2018 was registered against accused Shabir Jarwar and two unknown persons under section 462/I, 353, 506/2 and 504 PPC and he was arrested.
Sepco also disconnected power supply for one hour in protest to the entire town.
