Karachi:The Department of Psychology, University of Karachi, is organizing a day- long seminar on role of youth in peace building on April 25 from 10am to 1pm at the Arts Auditorium, KU.
The objectives of the seminar are to empower youth in preventing extremism and positioning peace in Pakistan and to recognize the role of civil institutions in peace building. It would also appreciate the role of mental health professional in peace building and flourishing youth and aimed to help in understanding and addressing the deep, underlying causes of conflict and unrest.
Meanwhile, the seminar also aimed to endorse peace by recognizing the effect of media and media personal while experts would also discuss promoting peace building process by recognizing the power of youth.
