ISLAMABAD:Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza has said the government is taking revolutionary steps to ensure availability of quality medicines at affordable prices to the people.
Talking to a private news channel, he said government has taken strict action against pharmaceutical companies for unauthorized increase in the prices of medicines. He said the government is reviewing the Drug Act in order to redress the apprehensions of Pharma industry. He stressed upon the pharmaceutical companies to support the government in provision of health facilities to the common man.
