Sardar Bhotani speaks

QUETTA: Differences of opinion is beauty of democracy. There is no possibility of derailing of democracy with no trust against Balochistan Chief Minister. Assembly would continue to function and elections to Upper House would also be held in time. Linking no trust to Senate elations is not correct.

These views were expressed by MPA and former Caretaker Chief Minister Sardar Saleh Bhotani while speaking with Newsmen Friday.

Sardar Bhotani said parliamentary change in Balochistan would cause no impact on Senate polls nor it would effect electoral schedule. We are supportive of democracy and desire continuity and stability of democracy. No trust motion is part of democratic process and it is no danger to democracy. Rumours of derailing of democracy are baseless and concocted. According to Constitutional demands assembly would pick its new leader of House in case of success of no trust. Cabinet meeting would also be held and matters of government would run as usual.

He said we have required strength of members for the success of no trust. Mohtarma Rahat Jamali and Abdul Majid Abro have also resigned. Agha Nawab Shah has also relieved him from his responsibilities. More important resignations were in the pipeline. He said we are in the Muslims League and for new Chief Minister decision would be taken with mutual consultation. Keeping in view tribal values he added we are striving for democratic process .
