ISLAMABAD: Twelve Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidates including Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani filed their nomination papers for Senate elections to the Provincial Election Commissioner in Karachi on Wednesday.
Other candidates who filed nomination papers for seven general seats include Maula Bux Chandio, Murtaza Wahab, Mohammad Ali Jamote, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Imamdin Shokeen and Ayaz Mehr.
Krishna Kohli and Quratulain Mari filed paper for two reserve seats for Woman and Anwar Lal Dean for minority seat.
