KALAT: Election Commission under the dark of night has completed new constituencies which are unacceptable. It is our demand Chagai Seat should be revived at its own place and Kalat Seat at its own place. There is talk of rigging of 2018 elections but were 2013 electionst4ransparent. Some has been vested with Sindh, some with Punjab and another with KP.
This was stated by former Deputy Chairman Senate and Senator Abdul Ghafoor Hydri while speaking with Journalists at his residence here Tuesday.
Amir JUI Kalat Maulana Mahmood Shah, Secretary General Hafiz Mohammad Ibrahim Lehri and others were also present.
Maulana Hydri said four pillars of State should perform within constitutional ambit or country would suffer which would be beyond imagination. Parliament is legislative body and has right of legislation empowers Parliament to make legislation in the light of constitution. Law allowed judiciary to give practical shape to legislative’s recommendations and take decisions in its light. Military leadership should protect country’s frontiers and discharge its responsibilities within constitution then system would run and country would make progress economically. We must rise above our differences and strengthen pillars of State and organize them.
Answering a question Maulana Hydri said Election Commission has finalized new constituencies under closed doors which are not accepted. We would approach courts in this regard and there will also be talk in the parliament. Kalat cum Mastung become one constituency with regard to census. An excess has been made with Chagai as its NA seat has been abolished and associated with Kalat. He demanded that Chagai Seat should be revived at is palace and Kalat Seat at its place. It there seems rigging in 2018 elections then were 2013 elections were fair and transparent. At that time also some political parties were vested to Sindh, some to Punjab and some with Balochistan.
We understand governments in provinces have not come into being with people’s votes but JUI had then decided not to go to court so that system is not harmed. He said no Mulla was sold during Senate elections but major dignitaries were sold.
