Shazia wants PTI govt to disclose IMF deals detail

KARACHI: Central Information Secretary Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians and Member of the National Assembly Shazia Atta Marri has said that ruling PTI government should openly disclose the details of the International Monetary Fund deals in the National Assembly and parliament should also be taken into confidence in this regard.

She said that Imran Khan used to say during election campaigns that he would rather commit suicide whether to approach the IMF for loans, now Imran Khan should honour his words to commit suicide. This she said in a statement issued here on today. Marri said that Imran Niazi didn’t commit suicide but had been squeezing 22 core people of the country by unprecedented inflation rate and bad economic policies.

She added that Pak-Iran gas pipeline project was closed in the prejudice with President Asif Ali Zardari resulted acute gas shortage being faced by the country. She said that government’s decision of increasing prices of gas, petrol, electricity and food items had been proved anti-people decision and the gangs of incompetence people had imposed on the country which had created havoc. She said that if Imran Khan Niazi would not be ousted then it would be difficult to overcome on the destruction caused by his anti-people policies.
