KARACHI:Sindh Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs 30213.342 million in various heads during current fiscal year from July to November 2018, while in the same period during last financial year Rs 24934.605 million were collected.
Rs 3033.051 million were collected in terms of Motor Vehicle Tax, Rs 23389.312 million in terms of Infrastructure Cess and Rs 229.265 million in terms of Professional Tax.
Rs 124.525 million were collected in terms of cotton fee, Rs 1296.424 million in property tax, Rs 26.982 million in Entertainment Duty while remaining amount was collected in heads of various other taxes.
This was informed in a meeting presided over by Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control and Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Kumar Chawla.
