Sindh province getting extra funds: Naqvi

KARACHI:Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi on Sunday said the complaint of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah about funds is not correct as Sindh province is getting 31 per cent extra funds from the federal government.

Addressing a presser at Insaf House Karachi, Naqvi said the impression of deduction in province’s funds by the federal government is baseless as province has been allocated 31 per cent extra funds by the federation.

He accused that the PPP government has given nothing to the province except corruption during its 11-years rule. He said the corruption mafia would be made answerable and no deal or compromise would be made on the issues of public interest. Naqvi said the PTI would expose the persons who were responsible for destroying Sindh.
