Karachi: KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has announced protest scheduled against the Sindh government and K-Electric in connection of public woes including power outages, shortage of drinking water and difficulties in issuance of Computerised National Identity Cards (CNIC).
In a presser conference held at Idara Noor Haq here, Siraj said that the JI-Karachi Chapter would besiege the Chief Minister House on April-20 and to observe a strike on 27-April in order to raise the issues of the common men.

He said that the Karachi was ideological and economic hub of the country, however; it seems that the incumbent government was not willing to resolve the issues of the people.
“The JI is playing its active role in resolving the public issues, and opted all constitutional and legal ways against the K-Electric. The government is behaving badly with the people of metropolis,” said Siraj.
