Karachi: Kizilbashing, comprising of stalwart Anwar Kizilbash, Anisur Rehman, Ali Hai and Zia Hai, won Dr. Essa Lab Bridge Trophy scoring 125.18 victory points here at Aslam Bridge Hall.
Shandar team secured second position with 112.29 victory points. The team comprised of Fatima Raza, Rashidul Ghazi, Tehsin Gheewla, Mohsin Chandna and Hassan Askari.
Bilal team came third with 101.15 victory points. The team included Gulzar Bilal, Abdul Muqeet, Masood Mazhar, Shahihn Iqbal, Hamed Mohiuddin and Yousuf Jan Mohammad.
Karachi Bridge Association (KBA) organized the tournament, where nine teams featured.
Chief guest Junaid Ali Shah on the occasion said that Pakistan has produced a lot of talented players in every sport but now there’s a lack of infrastructure and therefore players of the country were struggling.
He added that government should provide proper infrastructure so that Pakistan sports persons can represent Pakistan forcefully at world stage.
