Karachi: K-Electric stunned former champions Dollar East by 24 runs in 5th Naya Nazimabad Ramadan Cup T20 Cricket Tournament here at Lawai Stadium on Monday night.
K-Electric batted first and put on board 165-5 in 20 overs. Zeeshan Malik (51 runs) and Nauman Anar (42 runs) batted well for the side. Azam Hussain and Mohammad Sami took two wickets each.
In reply, Dollar East scored 144-9 in allotted 20 overs. Ejaz Ali Shah top scored for the side with 33 runs. Discarded opener Khurram Manzoor contributed only 14 runs. Hassan Khan, Nasir Nawaz and Faraz Ahmed Khan took two wickets each for the winning side.
