Sukkur:Due to prolonged load shedding of electricity different areas of Sukkur have been braving acute shortage of drinking water.
Municipal Corporation Sukkur has said that the SEPCO besides regular load shedding has also restored to extra unannounced power outage, resulting in acute shortage of water.
The worst affected areas include New Pind, Micro Colony and Old Sukkur. Citizens have requested the authorities to take notice of the matter and resolve it on humanitarian grounds.
