Tehreek-e-Hurriyat condemns house detention of Gilani, other leaders

ISLAMABAD: In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir has strongly condemned the house detention of its Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, and other pro-freedom leaders.

In a statement in Srinagar the Tehreek said the imprisonment of its leaders had no constitutional and moral justification and police is suppressing peaceful voices by the dint of force.

The house arrests of the leaders from carrying out their political and religious obligations are tantamount to strangulate genuine voice of the Kashmiri people.
